Happy New Year!
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm ready to get back on my regular schedule and I think my kids are as well. We have definitely enjoyed staying in our PJ's and relaxing a little longer than usual in the mornings. And all the fun activities over the holidays have been a blast. Everyone is always in such a good mood and all of the decorations are so beautiful. But now I'm ready to "hit it hard" and get back to my work outs, healthy eating, and our regular routine!!
S'Mores in December!
We decided to take the kids to Huntington Beach to hang out and roast s'mores over the fire. We made sure to get there before dark so we could get the fire lit and so the kids could play. I love where we live because we are soooo close to the beautiful beaches!!
Ben and Summer had so much fun sliding down this little embankment....aaaah the simple things in life.

Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas!!! Oh my goodness, Christmas is so much fun when you are around two little kids. Their eyes were as big as saucers when they walked into the living room and saw that Santa had eaten the cookies and left lots of presents. Ben was so excited to check out his stocking.... Summer was way too distracted by her play kitchen to even think about what was inside her stocking.
Christmas Continued...
More Christmas Fun! Ben & Summer both like Madagascar and Ben likes to name us after the characters. He is always Alex the Lion, I'm Melman the giraffe, Summer is Gloria the hippo and Brian is Marty the zebra. Brian will call from work sometimes and talk to "Alex". So Ben was very excited to get this movie for Christmas!!
Growing up we used to set out all of our Christmas presents and then have a picture taken so we could remember everything we received. Miss Wiggle Queen was tricky to get a good picture of and Ben's toys were spread all over the place so we didn't even try with him! Maybe this won't be one of my family traditions....
