Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! We have decided to start a blog so our family and friends can keep up with us. Ben is saying farewell to his gingerbread house. He had so much fun building it with his Aunt Carol but we decided January 1st would be a great day to throw it away! Out with the old, right?!

On New Years Day we decided to take the kids to the beach to play. Summer is walking now and loves to explore.

Ben and I took a jog down the beach to explore some rocks and tide pools.

This pelican was in the ocean and started floating toward us. It walked right out of the water and headed straight for Summer! She must have looked like lunch!

One last splash in the waves and then we left!
