March 2009 - Visit from Cousins

Steve & his family came down to the O.C. for a visit to Disneyland and stopped by our house for some play time. We had two cameras going at the same time so a bit tricky to get everyone to look at the same one at the same time!

These two could easily pass as sisters! Aren't they so cute!

March 2009 - Floss Queen

Summer loves dental floss. Shouldn't this be a good thing? Not when she does this to it:

Two Dogs

Ben loves to act like he's a dog. He hangs out with Abby so much that he really does do a good dog impersonation and will stay "in character" for a long time. He'll lay on the ground and pretend to knaw on his arm, scratch like a dog, make dog sounds, etc. And he insists I call him "puppy." Here are my two dogs:

Trix Yogurt

We had the most beautiful sunset the other day....but I was so busy with the kids I didn't notice at first. And then Ben said, "Look mommy, the sky looks like Trix Yogurt." That got a big laugh out of me and showed me new perspective on sunsets.

No Training Wheels!!

Ben learned how to ride his bike without training wheels in March! We are so proud of him!

Here's a picture of Ben WITH the training wheels:

And now a picture of Ben WITHOUT the training wheels:

The kids loved to ride their bikes around our culd-de-sac. Here is Summer on her tricycle. She can go pretty darn fast....an futile attempt to keep up with Ben. Once she can ride a bike he is going to have a run for his money.

Summer also loves to ride down our driveway on this dump truck. There's a movie of her below, it's so cute to see her go down the hill.

Chocolate Cravings

Just hanging out, snacking on some chocolate chips that happen to be in a very easy to reach location....

Maybe I need to rethink where I put my chocolate chips!
