April 2009 - Easter!

We had a fun Easter. I took the kids to S.Coast Plaza to ride the carousel. They change out the horses for bunny rabbits which was very exciting. Ben & Summer were excited to see the Easter Bunny but this is as close as Summer would get to him and she was pretty nervous the entire time. Coloring Easter Eggs. My niece, Katie, spent Easter weekend with us and helped out with the kids...which was nice.

A chocolate bunny and a lollipop for breakfast...Yum!

(Sidenote: Not such a good idea - kids went bonkers the rest of the day after filling up with so many sweets in the morning).

April 2009 - I love Napa!!

Napa Trip! My mom watched the kids while Brian and I headed to Napa for a 4 day getaway. We had such a nice and relaxing time!! Thanks mom!!

We headed to Hess first, they have amazing wines and a really interesting art collection. The grounds are gorgeous and the art collection is 3 stories with lots of neat stuff.

We also headed to Sterling to check out the greek architecture the vineyard is based on as well as the awesome views. You need to take a tram to get to the top.

April 2009 - More of Napa

We went on several hikes during our stay in Napa - this was a tough one but well worth it for the view (and for burning off the calories from all the yummy food and drink).

March 2009 - Poor Abby

All I can say about this is: GOOD DOG! Ben was getting such a big kick out of Abby wearing sunglasses. Secretly, I think Abby liked the attention.

March 2009 - Visit from Cousins

Steve & his family came down to the O.C. for a visit to Disneyland and stopped by our house for some play time. We had two cameras going at the same time so a bit tricky to get everyone to look at the same one at the same time!

These two could easily pass as sisters! Aren't they so cute!
