Summer loves to have Dad read books to her and as soon as Dad sits down it's her "cue" to bring one book after another to him. Fortunately Dad doesn't mind a bit....for some reason it's pretty funny to hear Dad read the fluffy kitten book

April 13th, 2008, continued

Nemo is Ben's buddy and he goes everywhere with Ben. The other day Ben set him on the window ledge of the car and he flew out. Fortunately I happen to look in my rear view mirror and saw an orange object flying in the air....and then I heard, "OH NO, NEMO!!!" I pulled over, did a U-turn and retrieved Nemo from the middle of the road. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough from saving poor Nemo from being run over and flipped in the air by a minimum of 5 cars. We are lucky he survived (Believe me!).

April 13th, 2008

It was a hot weekend so Ben decided it was a great day to play in his frog pool. Summer wasn't really in the mood for a swim so she played with Abby. She even went as far as to "strike a pose" on Abby since she had the wind blown hair do going on.

April 7, 2008

Ben has decided that Summer isn't so bad. He has now discovered that he can blame everything on her and somehow doesn't think mom is wise to it. So when Ben loses something, all of sudden, "Summer lost it." Or if he doesn't want to eat something, now he says, "Summer ate it all so it's all gone." Very clever. He's so happy about this new situation that he will even give Summer a big kiss...I like to think it's in gratitude for all he thinks he's getting away with.

Summer was sure curious about the leg contraption that Brian had to use after his knee surgery. She was very relieved that she could pad around in mom's slipper while dad had to deal with the start of his physical therapy.

Poor Summer! Once we got back from our trip to Mesquite, she came down with the flu. Of course I was freaking out because I thought for sure she must have gotten Baby Clara sick but fortunately Clara was fine. Whew!

Our Weekend in Mesquite - Easter Weekend

We headed to Mesquite, NV, over Easter Weekend. It's the halfway point between Orange County and Salt Lake City so we thought it would be fun to meet up with Ann & Jesse so we could meet baby Clara and so the guys could go on some bike rides.
